How To Treat Clogged Sinuses With A Swollen Tonsil?

My right tonsil sonetimes gets a little swollen from time to time and I am not sure why. I get strept throat like once a year but the swollen right tonsil does not have anything to do with that as far as I know as I just get it without strept throat. Also, I have had a stuffed nose for a year. Its not actually my nose but more of clogged sinuses. I have been using nose spray for a year which I know is not good but do not have insurance. With my clogged sinus issue, blowing my nose really does nothing as the blockage is so deep and blowing my nose just makes the air come out my left ear. I had problems with my left ear all my life so obviously have a hole in my ear drum. I am a 28 year old female.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry, there is no surgery to completely remove the buzzing sound. I am advising you to ignore the sound as much as possible. You check your hearing status by doing a pure tone audiometry. You may use a hearing aid to improve your hearing. When you improve your hearing then this internal sound will get decreased. You can switch on the radio at a smaller volume when you go to sleep. Ignore this sound. Nowadays new tinnitus masters have arrived, which is a machine attached to hearing aid and it will be playing soft music. This will prevent you to hear the sound. But this is costly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
