Hello,

Do you have pain in the face and fever? Sometimes, sinusitis can lead to serious problems. And most of the time, sinusitis does not need to be treated with antibiotic medicines. This is because most sinusitis is caused by viruses, not bacteria, and antibiotic do not kill viruses.

If your symptoms have not improved after 10 days, your doctor is prescribe you antibiotic. But you already take antibiotic but your symptoms still not improved, you should see your doctor back. He or she might order tests to figure out why you still have symptoms. Some people get a lot of sinus infections or have symptoms that last at least 3 months. This is called chronic sinusitis, for exampled you may have polyps or you have allergies that cause your symptom.

To reach out of sinusitis you should avoid the trigger that make you allergy. It is important treat your allergy and prevention the allergy including use medicine that help to release your blockage. Antihistamine is helpful when you get allergy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
