And I dont know what to do. Do I extract it? If I do how will I know if it the pus was fully remove? Prior to this boil i also experience a stye twice in span of a month. This my first time expriencing this stuff. and im truly scared. I would appreciate your reply. Thank you.
Hello First of all clear one thing from your mind that this is dangerous . On previous occasion , you were having stye , may be due to staphylococcal infection . This time this boil or abscess may be due to same pathogens . So don't be in panic , take it easy and normal and count this boil as amy be anywhere on leg or hands or fingers ( this is for example , I hope you understand ). Now , consult a surgeon and get it remove full pus and nothing else . Whenever such patient visit my clinic I just put some local anesthetic and remove all pus ,bandage with povidone lotion . It take only 5-7 days to heal .
