How To Treat Bloody Defecation?

Hi! My name is Antoinette and I have been experiencing some abnormal spotting for a few days. Then last night I went to the bathroom and had a bowel movement and did have to push a little but I noticed a line of bloody oozy stuff hanging from my rectum and looked down and noticed the toilet water was quite bloody. I don't know if both my urine and stool are bloody but it appears that way and I'm super freaked out about it!! The only medicines I'm on are Lexapro-20 mgs a day, Levothyroxine-75 mcgs a day, Seasonique-birth control (taken regulary with no period due till 2 months from now) and Suboxone-8 mgs a day. What could be going on and should I see a doctor right away??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
es, you should see a Doctor right away and ask for a reference for a General Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and further investigations like per-rectal digital examination, colonoscopy and biopsy; CT scan of the abdomen and tests of blood, stool and urine.
Bleeding per-rectum or P?R as it is called has to be investigated to find the offending cause.
Taking Lexapro, Levothyroxine, Seasonique birth control pills or Suboxone may not be related to the problem.
Once a proper diagnosis has been made, it will be easy for the plan of management to get a proper cure.
