How To Treat Bleeding From A Small Spot On Scrotum?

Hi, My husband just got out of the shower and he was bleeding from a small spot on his scrotum. There is no pain, he is applying pressure and it is slowing down but hasn't stopped. it is his 51st birthday and he would rather not spend it in the ER but we don't know what is causing this.

Hello,

Small bleed in the scrotum can be from injury or infection in case there is associated inflammation signs. He can apply antiseptic cream in the area and wait for a day if there are no other symptoms like severe pain and inflammation and report to your doctor tomorrow.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vivek Chail
