my mri revealed bilateral sacroilitis rt> lt.hla b27 was negative and crp is normal.x ray of the spine is normal.my rheumatologist has put me on pan 40, saaz 500 and etoshine120.the doctor said that it is mild sero negative arthritis.my queries are 1.are these meds steroids? 2.is my condition completely curable? will this condition cause problems in pregnancy an cause any sort of disability in the future? 3.what are the long term implications?
These medications which you are getting are not steroids. One of them etoshine is a pain killer. Pan is to prevent acidity. Saaz causes control of sacroillitis. I do not think that your pregnancy will be affected. But sacroillitis is not completely curable and you may have to take steroids if these medics not work.
