How To Treat Back Pain With Cracking Noise With History Of Prostate Cancer Remission In A 80 Years Old Male?
My uncle don is 80 years old and he cannot urinate. he has back pain behind his ribs and has cracking noises he felt in his back. he has also had lower back pain for a long time he has also been in remission prostate cancer taking no medicine for any of the above problems. I am worried because he is the caretaker for my 85 year old Mom. what should i do and what could this be as there is 550 miles from me and i am recouperating from back surgery 4 weeks ago. thanks pam stout
HI Thank fro choosing HCM I really appreciate your concern, I would advise to give your uncle any simple pain killing pills, if I would be his doctor then I would treat your uncle with the following drugs, 1) Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day 2) Tab Diclofenac 50 mg sustain release once in day This is not be given for long term basis but just for symptomatic relief, I hope you can understand this, have nice day.
