How To Treat Anal Fissure?

Hi Dr, I have anal fissure ,been using procto-glyvenol for over a year, it is not healing. it is very painfull when I go to the toilet and my stool have blood. what can I do to cure this matter I m 46 y/o, today I tried candibec cream I don t know if this works only 1 day. I am hoping you can help me with this matter.

Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Anal fissures cannot be completely cured by medications such as the one you are taking.
You need to undergo cryosurgery for complete cure. The operation is called 'fissureotomy'. You need to consult Surgeon in this regard for proper evaluation and management.
In the mean time, since constipation is the triggering factor for exacerbation of symptoms, you need to take laxatives to avoid the same.
