How To Treat An Infected Heel That Is Scaly And Dry And Painful?
I have an infection on the heel of my right foot. I've had this condition for about two months. The affected area is about one inch in diameter. It is scaly, dry and somewhat painful. I tried a number of over the counter athlete's creams, but nothing has worked. Can you provide any feedback.

Hello, It is my pleasure to help you. Your history of right heel infection and the scale coming out of the lesion may be a infection in the heel. It may be a fungal infection and you have tried number of drugs over the counter. This is not a good practice as you are having this symptoms for more than 2 months, maintaining good hygiene and keeping the wound dry is very important . You need to consult the dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Thank you. Maintaining hygiene and keeping the wound dry is very important
