How To Treat Acute Stress Disorder?

Hello, I went to the doctors yesterday because my teacher and parent was worried about me so I went so they wouldn t get upset, my doctor told me I have Psychotic Depression or a Psychotic Mental Illness and referred me to a psychiatrist. When I went to him the next day I found out he is an Aly-ion and I felt really scared and had trouble explaining to him anything, when he finished talking to me he diagnosed me with acute stress disorder but I know this isn t right and he is going to give me pills for it.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It may be best to trust the diagnosis of the doctor and use the medication as prescribed.
It should help you to feel better. Some psychiatry medications can take a few weeks for a maximal effect.

IF you are still concerned regarding the diagnosis and treatment , it would be best to speak to your parents and doctor.

I hope this helps
