How To Treat Acute Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain?
Was diagnosed w lymphocytic colitis 2 years ago. Not had any results from drug treatment. Up to 35 diarrhea per day.Been on entocort for two weeks now. Number of diarrheal has decreased to 4-6 daily but no relief with massive amounts of diarrhea and abdominal pain. How long do I need to take this drug before I mention this ro my dr?

With the history of diarrhea of 35 in day hospitalization is very necessary, if stool not been analyze then this need to be done for proper etiology, without this treating condition on tentative basis is not at all advisable, some differential diagnosis need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
