Hello,
I can understand your concern on your symptom
1) Constipation i absence of indigestion suggest that it might be due to some pathology of large intestine. Such constipation since long time require detailed evaluation to reach correct diagnosis so that appropriate treatment can be started.
2) Colonoscopy and CT-scan abdomen (if necessary) would be recommended to you.
3) You also can continue stool softener or laxatives to control symptoms till appropriate treatment would be implemented once diagnosis is confirmed.
