How To Treat Abnormal TSH Level?

Sir, my wife cause an road accident last month so she need surgery on her legs that time they check the blood functions...then they notice that her tsh level is 4.5....so they give tablet for that after that she take tablet continusely....last 2 weeks she stopped tablet today we give blood sample for checking in that its showing she have tsh level on 48.00.... Sir really we are so dissapointed wat we can do for this? Please advise sir full time she is crying and attempting for suicide wat can I do for this....she is only age of 24....newly married. ...we try for a baby for last 4 months...its not working...is this result have any other influence in processsing a baby for us....sir please advise. ..Please

TSH -48 is really high.You have to restart thyroxine.Hypothyroidism itself can cause depression .Consult your physician and restart an apt dose of thyroxine..
Don't try for pregnancy when the TSH values are above normal.First normalise the TSH levels ,try to bring it down to 2.5.Then you try for children.
