How To Treat A Ligament Fracture On Right Ankle Causing Swelling?
Hello actually I met an accident 5ago where my Right Ankle hit with divider and it s swelling is not getting low and the X Ray report says there is no fracture but it s a ligament rupture. The same leg had fracture 4 years back also. So is it advisable to go for a plaster? And also I have to go to college frequently due to assignments submission and exams in college .
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ligament tear on right ankle causing swelling . Well i would suggest you to take proper rest , apply ice pack for 15-20 minutes daily to reduce inflammation , and keep your foot elevated while lying down . Also tie bandage around ankle . Plaster is needed usually in case of fracture or severe soft tissue injury . You can opt for wheel chair to go to college , but keep your foot elevated by putting it on chair or table . Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
