Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding a large bomp inside your nostril and it is tender also with raised outer surface of skin. Total duration is of only two days. Your symptoms are in favour of Vestibulitis nose. It may be a simple furuncle or may be secondary infection in pre existing cyst. Since it is tender so vestibulitis is the first diagnosis and you should get investigate yourself for diabetes also for managing the disease. Secondarly I would like to tell you the portion of nostril involve in your case is the DANGEROUS area of face for spreading the infection to brain and cavernous sinus so my suggestion is to consult your ENT doctor for treatment. Till you are in waiting for speacilist please follow these- 1- Don t press the nostril as to avoid the spread of infection. 2- Took tab paracetamol for pain. 3- Antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum with anaerobic coverage).
