How To Treat A Deficiency Of Vitamin D3?

My mother has a deficiency of vitamin d3 and its normal level is 30-40 and my moms level is 21.2.She is suffering from chronic pain and fatigue and mental depression and is in unbearable pain.Can any one suggest me which doctor or type of doctor to consult or what to do?

With your query, deficiency of vit D is coz of two reasons firstly due to lack of vitamin in the body secondly lack of absorption of this vit D due to defecuency of vit B12 moreover it is common in females with the age. Best is have adequate exposure of early morning sun with foods rich in calcium and vit D along with green leafy vegetables and milk are good. You can your orthopedician who decides whether she requires any supplements are not.Hope this helps you.
