How To Test ADHD In Kids?
My nephew was given/prescribed the drug adderal but not tested the doctor gave the drug to the child because the parents said I think my child has ADHD be use he does not pay attention in school and getting labeled as a bad child. Maybe he needs to be diagnosed first before a doctor just hands the parent a script, your thoughts?

I can understand your concerns.
The diagnosis of ADHD is mostly clinical. So no test can diagnose or rule out ADHD. But there are questionnaires which are to be filled by the parents and teachers which aid in the diagnosis. Also there are certain criteria which need to be fulfilled for the diagnosis of ADHD like the symptoms should be present n more than two settings, it should be significantly hampering his functioning.
