my grampa smokes cigars and the tar in them sticks to his tv how could it be removed? hes smoked since he was 11 so he probably wont stop now

eww. If it's just a regular TV (the older ones not the flat screen plasma whatevers) you could try wiping it off with a damp cloth and a tiny bit of soap.
