Hi, I am Dr.Shreyash Mehta, MD Community Medicine

I understood your concern, I hope that my answer will solve your query

As you told that you are addicted to cigarette smoking and to other drugs.
You also do excessive masturbation.

I advise you that you should do something creative or positive i.e. if you are studying then you must concentrate on your subject. If you have some business then you must concentrate on it.

Life is not bed of roses. One has to face the challenges the life put in front of you.

You are trying to derive pleasure from smoking and other drug addiction. Tobacco and other narcotic drugs are injurious to your health.

Doing masturbation is a normal phenomenon. It is normal to masturbate 2-3 times a week. 99% of males do it. But it should not be done in excess as it will preoccupy your brain with perverted thoughts.

You must engage yourself in work which is in the betterment of yourself, your family and your society.

There are anonymous groups of former drug addicts and smokers. You can meet them. These will reinforce you idea of leaving cigarette and drugs.

You may be discreet/ avoid your friends who are engrossed in excessive smoking, drug addiction and sexual perversion.

If this does not solve you can meet a spiritual leader whom you follow. You can do meditation and self introspection.

You can consult a psychiatrist who may prescribe de-addiction drug regimen if needed.
