How To Stop Light Bleeding After Abortion?

hi, im 17 around 9and half stone, 5ft 3 - ish? i had the implant put in a couple of years ago, but decided to have it removed after a year or so, due to bad mood swings and feeling depressed. i went on the pill but fell pregnant and decided for an abortion. at the clinic while havin the abortion i decided to give the implant another go, this was about 8 weeks ago, and now my implant has moved down my arm and i have a slight pain when moving the muscle in my arm in certain positions. also is there anything to stop the bleeding as i have been havin a slight period ever since the abortion. ?

Hi,
The causes for the persistent bleeding after the abortion could be either an incomplete abortion or hormone disturbances after the abortion leading to breakthrough bleeding. You can get a proper clarification after a clinical evaluation by your consultant and a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route. If the abortion is complete, you will be put on hormones for a couple of cycles after checking the function of the implant, which could be another possible cause for the bleeding. Please maintain a healthy diet and see that you do not fall anemic. Hope this helps.
