How To Stop Heavy Bleeding After Taking Misoprostol Tablets?

Hi Doc, its been 2 week than i have MT pill and Misropostal tablets to terminate my pregenancy...Since, day 1 of having the tablets i had my nominal periods and now from last 3 days i am having heavy bleeding with lots of blood clots... please advise on how i could stop or slow down my periods... i am a mother of a child and its being very difficult manageing my peronal and professional life like this...

I understand your concern
Misoprostol should be taken under the advice of the gynecologist for successful abortion without any complication.
It is used to terminate intrauterine pregnancy after confirming it by USG scan.
Normally bleeding will occur for 4-5 days after using the misoprostol.
Heavy bleeding could be due to ectopic pregnancy, high sensitivity to the misoprostol, improper use and dose of the misoprostol.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vagainal examintaion, USG scan.
Remaining product should be removed by the D & C.
Normally, USG also should be done at 14th day to confirm the complete process of abortion.
Take proper rest, mainatin proper pelvic hygiene, eat healthy diet with iron supplements.
