How To Stop Getting Boils On The Thighs And What To Do If They Pop?

HI I am a 29 year old woman and I tend to get these boils between my legs on my thigh I am guessing from sweating ( I am very active) and tonight I got out of the shower and tried to pop it and it sounded like It popped underneath my skin.. should I be worried. I also instantly put antibiotic cream on it. I am a bit nervous about it

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem, this type of eruption of small lesions are common in certain subject could be because of immunity, and hypersensitivity, this is mostly self limiting and seldom need treatment, hygiene is the matter, anti biotic is questionable here, instead you can use antihistamine and the best choice is "Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day" hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.

General & Family Physician Dr. Ramprabhu's  Response
Thanks for query. Most boils are caused by a bacteria (staphylococcal bacteria). This enters the body through tiny nicks or cuts in the skin or can travel down the hair to the follicle.Apply a medicated ointment (topical antibiotic) and a bandage. Continue to wash the infected area two to three times a day and to use warm compresses until the wound heals.Do not pop the boil with a needle. This could make the infection worse.
Carefully wash clothes, bedding, and towels.
Clean and treat minor skin wounds.
Practice good personal hygiene.
Stay as healthy as possible.regards
