I would not recommend using epilator on the face as the consequence of this can cause further increase hair growth which i believe u will not like. Keeping the expense in US in mind, u can use wax strips for face available in any store of USA.
For acne, facial cleansing and keeping ur face dry can help. If u find acne a problem, contact ur doctor to prescibe some topical treatment.

Dermatologist Dr. Bharat Chawda's  Response
Hi!Ramya,
Welcome To HealthcareMagic forum,
The only permanent method is laser hair reduction,,but yes its costly.Others would be use of waxing strips,or there are smaller machines available which can do a temporary job for you..You also mentioned about having acne..then you should get your hormonal profile done as both these conditions is seen in PCOD case which means in hormonal dis balance.
take care,
Dr.chawda
