Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi... My face was clean until I moved to Mysore. Initailly, i thought it would be due to climatic variations as I belong to Northern India. But the acne problem is increasing. The marks remai. I have tried many medicines but marks dont go. Could you help.
The acne are very common problem to those having oily skin . There are also some trigger factors which further exaggerate the pimples and dark spots like hormonal changes , climate changes , stress and anxiety and certain medicines . I would suggest you to :
Wash your face twice a days with mild soap and cold water . Use soap or face wash containing benzoyl peroxide .
After washing your face apply cream containing kojic acid (koijivit) , which is very effective and safe for long term use .
Exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant twice a week to remove dead skin and dirt .
