How To Remove Earwax?

I went to the doctor about a month ago to have my ears flushed, because I had lost hearing in my left ear due to wax buildup. The doctor found that I also had an ear infection, so he prescribed me ear drops and amoxicillyn. I feel my left ear starting to feel a little full again.. My question is, how can I remove this ear wax without going to the doctor? Last time the doctor removed it, he really hurt me. I have some of the ear drops he prescribed me left, should I use those?

Hello

Yes you can use the ear drops , but i would like to know what drops were given to you. You can also try olive oil, two drops 3-4 times a day , it will also help in dissolving the wax. Please dont use ear buds as they may cause more trauma.

Thanks
