How To Remove Dark Spots On Chin Caused By Hair Removal?

Hi,I am 28 years old and I have had chin hair for several years now. I started with threading the few stray hair that I had but I felt the skin becoming dark. I started waxing on my own and felt the skin become smoother and the hair much more manageable. Unfortunately I started using an epilator and now there are dark spots on the chin where the hair grows and also the hair is very thick and dark. I need help to get rid of the dark burnt like spots and the skin there is very dry. Also, I dont know if regular waxing will help me even out the growth. Please help. It is quite a depressing feeling and I FYI I suffer from hormonal imbalance. Thanks

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache. Believe me, it shows up far, far worse.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combination.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.
