How To Remove Bumps Surrounding Hair Follicles Caused Due To Grease Burn?

I suffered from a second degree grease burn about 4 months ago. It starts from my outer wrist to about two inches from my forearm. I don't have insurance so I let it form a huge blister and bust while using Aloe Vera. After it finally burst, I started using Neosporin after initial use of peroxide. There has been some healing but I have these ugly bumps surrounding my hair follicles. Not much progress after much time. Maybe because I switched to cocoa butter but now I'm back using Neosporin again. Any suggestions. Just got out of debt and not about to incur $3000 debt as I am struggling financially right now.

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

It seems to be secondarily infected with bacteria.

In such a case if i was the treating doctor i would have advised an oral antibiotic (penicillin group or cephalosporin group) for a week along with topical antibacterials like either mupirocin or neosporin twice daily.

take care
