How To Remove Bump On Head Caused By An Injury?

HI, I experienced a head injury 12 years ago. I accidentally banged my head on a steel shelf as I fell of the treadmill when I was a child. I received stitches to cure the injury and to this day, I still have a bump on the back of my head. I want to remove the bump as I m growing tired of its appearance. My question is, should I see a doctor and should I be concerned?

Hello
This is a hematoma ( collection or deposition of blood , sterile ).
This turned into bump .
This is not a cause of concern except it appearance bothering you.
Now only one option is remove it with the help of surgery .
If you think that it is causing a trouble ,consult a surgeon and get it remove it with surgery.
Not a serious problem or not a big surgery .
