How To Remove A Piece Of Glass Stuck In Knuckle?

I have a piece of glass stuck in my knuckle under healed skin (about 2 weeks ago). It s just a small shard but it s irritating if I put a ring on or off and if I bump it unexpectedly. There s no sign of infection or swelling. What should I do? Deal with it until it works its way out or have it removed?

It is probably best to see your doctor and have it removed. It may work its way out eventually but it may not and the longer it stays there the harder it will be to remove. It should be a simple procedure to remove it if you do it soon. Good luck.
