How To Relieve Congestion Due To Mucus In Throat?
My baby is about 2 and 1/2 weeks old and has a cold. Her nose was runny yesterday but she has no fever.
Today, it seems to have drained down to her throat . . . the way colds often do, when I go to suction her nose there's nothing there but I can hear the mucus in her throat now. What can I do to make her more comfortable?

Welcome to HCM,
I would suggest you not to do any suctioning. Majority of infection are viral in origin. Instillation of Normal saline nasal drops 2 drops in each nostril thrice a day will be helpful in clearing the secretions.
Continue Exclusive breast feeding.
