How To Regulate Periods?

I am not married my age is 20 and my periods are irregular it comes twice in a month from last one year. I had many medicines but still im not relieved from this problem.then my family doctor told me to have ovral l four 3 months then ur periods will be regular..but it doesn t work what should I do to have regular periods

You need a gynecologist's consultation & investigations ( CBC, Hormone assessment,USG abdomen to know the basic cause of the irregularity of periods & then take specific treatment given.
