Your history is incomplete, there is two type of BP,systolic and diastolic, your 90 bp is systolic or diastolic ? normal systolic bp is 120 and diastolic bp is 80.
If your sy. bp is 90 then it is low and if it is diastolic bp is on higher side.
You have not mentioned your age which is very important.
Ok and bye.

I took trinessa bc pills for only 4 days to regulate my period s. I m 51 years of age. Within a few hours of starting the bc pills I didn t feel good, but on the 4th day I felt short of breath and my normally good bp was in the 160 s of high 90 s. Went to the er yesterday, all tests were negative even a ct scan, but my d-dimer level was 1010. I did stop the bc pills after 4 days. Should I be concerned, I still have shortness of breath, and little by little my bp is lowering, but still elevated. How can I lower my d-dimer, should I have it re tested. Leaving on a long flight to Hawaii in 10 days. Thank You
I am a 51 year old none smoking male and not over weight. I have an active job and until recently have always had healthily low bloood pressure. I had a pre- med (inguinal hernia) 3 days ago and had a Bp of 134/102 which seems very high. I have just returned from my Gp surgery having checked my Bp on the waiting room monitor and it read 134/90 which is, i believe, still high? Is this within normal parameters? It still seems to have shot up from its usual low to mid 70 s range. Regards, Paul

Dr. Oz, I know you're show is geared mostly towards women but I really am in dyer need of help. I'm a 22 year old male and I'm currently taking two 20mg instant release Adderalls a day. My blood pressure is normal on a daily basis, but high blood pressure and heart disease does run in my family. My concern is in regards to Erectile Disfunction. It is a real self confidence killer! My penis doesn't get fully erect when I'm about to have sex, its hard but not where it can stay up the air hard..excuse the reference. Also some other times it will get hard, but it will not stay that way for long amounts of time. Does anyone know why this could be? I also have trouble staying hard. For example if it slips out, there is a switch of positions,or the slightest distraction, it wont remain hard. I take adderall but don't notice a difference in this when I take it and when I don't. I exercise regularly (4-5x a week) and eat relatively healthy(for a college student). I am stressed a lot and i know that could be a cause of my problems. but does anyone have any ideas? Also is it to early for someone my age (22) to take pills such as viagra or cialis? What are the long term side effects?
