How To Reduce Itching On Scrotum?

Hello, I have severe itching on the scoturm are and black itchy spots on legs, some doctors say it is dry skin and some say it is scabies, the biggest problem is in the scoturm area. I have a few pimple like red spots, and some black spots underneath the penis, the whole area is really itchy. Itching gets worse during the night.

Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and probably you have a fungus infection I advice you wash the area twice daily with an antifungal shampoo like ketoconazole OR selenium sulfide after apply gentle a topical antifungal cream like miconazole, or clotrimazole 3 times a day the treatment length is about 8 weeks, if in 2-3 weeks the symptoms still persist a physician should be consulted, at this moment to relieve the itchy you can apply a short 5-7 day course of topical steroid cream like triamcinolone OR hydrocortisone OTC twice/ day, antihistamine treatment by mouth is really helpful as well, I recommend you to wash the area and change the underwear frequently wearing fresh clothes like cotton avoiding nylons or synthetic fibers, use an antifungal powder like lamisil to keep the area dry. I hope that my advice has been helpful
Wishing you a good health
