General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The raised temperature while on chemotherapy is due to systemic inflammatory response via release of interleukin through tumor lysis via chemotherapeutic agents. The best remedy would be paracetamol extended release formulations in strength of 1000 mg.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
