How To Reduce Fever Of 3 And Half Year Old Baby?

Hi, may I agnswher your health queries right now ? Plase type your query here... my 3 and half old daughter gets fever after 8 hrs i give her ibufrofen it goes down after 8 hrs it comes again she has bad throat and i hv started with amox frm yesterday. but the fever is bothering me after giving her medicines 15 mins and fever goes but after 8 hrs it comes back

Hi and thank you much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this recurrent fever. Infections often come with fever. I recommend that you give the ibuprofen or Tylenol 3times daily for the control of fever. As the infection gets controlled, this would also disappear. In addition to drugs, dressing the baby lightly, placing a cold towel on her body and providing some water would help address this fever and prevent dehydration.
