How To Recover From Leukoplakia?

I have a past record for smoking and consumption of alcohol.. Leukoplakia symptoms, tried folic acid,b complex,multi vitamin tablets, folic acid injections, vitamin injections, B-12 was low around 233, Vit B-12 injection doses 10ml for 3 months, Anti-oxidants course for one month. Now using pantaprapazole, atacids, folic acid and tab ULGEL.. along with oral thrush treatment and use of benzocaine for anesthetic effect on my tongue. this is all record of last three years.. any suggestion ???

Hi,

Leukoplakia is a precancerous lesion, however, if treated on time and the causative factor is removed it does not turn into cancer.

The treatment is generally with multivitamins and antioxidants and that you are already taking and should continue for at least 3 months.

Also, completely avoid smoking, tobacco and alcohol.

If it doesn't improve ozone treatment and surgery can be done. It is better to once consult an Oral Surgeon.
