How To Recognize Implantation Bleeding?

Hi, my periods are regular with a 24-26 days cycle. Last period date: July 18. Projected period date for August: August 12. I wanted to delay it for 5 days, so my gynac suggested that I begin taking 2 tablets primolut-n/day from the August 9 to August 15. I was sexually active from August 12-15. Now, it s August 18 and I think I got my periods but the flow is very low, it s more like a streak (last checked at 12 pm IST). Could this be an effect of the medicine or is it implantation bleeding?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
I think it is due to effect of the pill only.
It is not implantation bleeding as you did sex in the safe period of cycle (at the end of period). Implantation bleeding is very light and just like spotting and associated with the mild cramp.
It will occur 10-12 days after sexual intercourse
Pregnancy is not possible as you did sex while on the primolut N as it acts as a contraception.
Primolut N cause change in bleeding pattern (may be light, excessive and prolonged).
Avoid stress and take healthy diet, drink plenty of water
Hope this may help you
