How to protect a cold sensitive head?

Hello. Do you have any idea how to deal with cold senstitive head? So far I wear hats / caps to keep warm, even in summer if its windy. Otherwise I get cold and head pain. How to change this? (F 36yrs, H170cm, W60kg, otitis media chronica since 15yrs)

Hello,

I believe you are doing all of the typical care instructions that would be useful in this type of condition. There are several cases in which I have seen Neurologists use medications normally reserved for peripheral neuropathy to lessen this discomfort. Medications like Cymbalta, Gabapentin or Amitriptyline. I have seen some success from patients using these medications as they can change peripheral sensation and dampen this discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
