dear sir/madam,any fasting blood sugar more than 126 is considered diabetes. I feel it is a strong dosage to start with considering your age. I am also not sure why thyronorm was prescribed to you. If I was treating you I would give a try with diet and exercise before going in for tablets. Please keep monitoring your blood sugars and also step up on your diet and exercise. I am confident that this would cut down your dosage of medicines.Wishing you the best.
