black heads are caused when the oil secreting sebaceous glands are blocked. the oil is oxidised on exposure to air and becomes- what is called black heads. you need to keep these pores clear if you have a bad problem you initially might need a treatment- from a specialist to get rid of them then you can prevent them from forming by drinking plenty of water and washing your face 2-3 times per day you can use a gentle scrub. Steam your face- carefully at home this opens up your pores once the pores open use a gentle facial scrub to clean your face and then wash your face with cold water to close the pores.

Hi.. black heads are the early stages of acne formation and are results of clogged pores.. They can be prevented if you can keep the skin clean and dry.. Be careful with the products that you use on the face.. Avoid oil based, thick emollents and prefer water based creams over them.. Regular exfoliation by means of facial scrubs may help.. Do not use harsh soaps on them.. and if they are very severe then few of the acne creams will help.. And remember to take professional help of a dermatologist if you cannot manage it yourself and if there is any severity...
