doctor i usually have the white patches in my back every year mostly during summer season. how to get relieved from this problem permanently now i am suffering from fungal infection mainly under arms, under thighs, itching is intolerable and that area is swelling and getting black in colour. doctor gave me tyza cream n medicine. is this is curable or will have any side affects.pls clarify
You seem to suffer from two conditions ... one is pityriasis alba and second is tinea corporis, cruris. Pityriasis Alba is benign condition with hypopigmented patches occurring off and on of unknown cause. Apply tacrolimus oint on the patches. And tinea corporis and cruris are the fungal infection and may be cured by antifungal tablets and cream. For that you consult the dermatologist. Avoid soap bath. Improve hygiene and immunity. Keep the skin dry. Wetness and perspiration may exacerbate the fungal infection.
Hope this helps.
