How To Overcome The Problem Of Sore Throat Effectively?
Dear Sir
I am from India, and from past 3 to 4 times after cold & cough, I had a problem of sore throat.
Now condition is same (cough & cold cured but I am suffering from sore throat). Last time when I taken 1-2 small cup of whiskey my problem solves. Last night I have taken a lukewarm water with some quantity of salt and it gives instant relief but problem is not cure completely.
I do not understand what is the reason behind this and how effectively I can manage it next time. Please clarify the same.

This may be allergic condition, if you are exposing to some chemical fumigation or highly dust generating environment then you have to stop exposing such thing in short underlying cause of allergy has to be found out, for the present throat condition, you can try long acting antihistamine levocertirizine is drug of choice have it just 10 mg at bed time, have a voice rest try any lozenges for good symptomatic relief, will come around have nice day

It seems like you are having chronic pharyngitis or chronic laryngitis which may be the reason for your complaints of chronic sore throat.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained by salt water gargling and use of decongestant drugs.
However the main treatment requires evaluation by ENT surgeon and treatment accordingly.
