Hi, I have been taking citalopram 20mg for more than 4 weeks. Although my general metal health has improved, I still have feeling of insomnia. I could line down on the sofa all day and when I do exercises I am exhausted afterwards... Can you please help me? Kevin
Hi Kevin, You seem to be suffering from depression. Your current symptoms of insomnia, feeling tired and not feeling like doing anything are all part of your depression. Citalopram seems to be working for you. Had I been your psychiatrist, I would have increased the dose of citalopram (can be taken upto maximum of 40 mg per day) and waited for its response. You will have be patient about the response. Hope this helped. Best wishes.
