General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a hematoma. Applying a cold compress or ice pack to the affected area for 15–20 minutes can stop any bleeding, reduce swelling, and help the healing process. You can also apply vitamin K cream.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
