How To Overcome The Depression Feeling?

I was wondering if you could help me know if I am depressed or not. I don't know what's wrong with me and I'm tired of being sad all the time, it seems like I don't care about anything anymore and my grades are getting lower everyday. The stress over whelms me and I am scared of the future. I don't really know if this is a question but I think it is. I don't know what to do if I am and I am terrified I am, I'm scared to talk to my parents or a doctor. I thought if this could help I would try it, I just need to know.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
There are many effective ways to overcome depression. Fortunately, we can control our thoughts and feelings much more than most people realize. With enough work and effort, you can change habitual thoughts and feelings. First, however, if you are on any medicines, check with your doctor to see if a medicine may be causing your depression.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
