Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. The reality is that there is always a reason for a bruise, even if the reason is not known at the time. Some of the causes of bruising for no reason include age, medication, or serious disease. Bruising for no reason may be a signal to consult a healthcare professional. Many of the causes of unexplained bruising can be identified by simple laboratory tests. As with any health concerns, the prudent choice is to see a medical professional. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
