Hello welcome to HCM.
In diabetes patients there are high chances of infection and once infection occurs (like pus in thigh) sugar levels remain uncontrolled.
So, my advice to you is-

1.you need to add one longer acting insulin at night around 10 pm. But frstconfirm every dosage with your treating doc. Don't change your dosage by yourself..

2.once the pus has been removed, blood sugar levels will be in control even with a small dosage of insulin, upto that point your doc will increase the dosage and medicines temporarily. So, no need to worry in Longterm.

3. DO FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly for adequate sugar control.
Thank you.
