Hi,

It is difficult to judge the status of the hymen without examination. As the hymen will have a rich blood supply, minor injury or friction can lead to spotting.

According to your history as there is no penetration, there is less possibility of rupture of the hymen but there is possibility for little injury. If the spotting is not continuous and not recurring, no need to worry.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
