Sir, Today I got my semen analysis report, The report is as follows Abstnence--- 3 days Liquifracation time ---- 30 min. Colour--- Milkey White Volume---4.0 ml Viscosity ---++ Reaction-- Alkaline Spermatozoa count--50 mi/ml active motile--60% slaggish motile--10% non motile--30% Pus cells--8-10/hpf Please inform me whether it is normal or abnormal, and suggest what to do.
Your semen analysis report suggests infection. Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen. Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI. You need antibiotics for infection. You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed. Proper antibiotics should be prescribed depending upon sensitivity report.
Other findings like sperm count,motility are normal.
