How To Interpret Results Of A Routine Health Check-up?

Hi Sir / Madam, I am age 36, Male, 6'1", 95 Kgs weights, little overwieght as per BMI - 27. I went for an routine health check and some of the results were scary and wanted to seek your advise before I can meet some experts in person, thanks for the time and adivse.



A. Clinical Biochemistry

a. Glucose, Fasting - 91.7mg/dl, b. Glucose, Post Prandial - 89.3mg/dl, c. Blood Urea Nitrogen - 11.3 mg/dl, Creatinnine - 1.2 mg/DL, Uric Acid - 4.4.

B. LFT - 1. Alkalaine Phosphaste - 106.9 U\L, Aspartate Aminotransferase (SGOT) 25.9 IU/L, SGPT - 47.5, Gamma - Glutamly Transferase - 42 IU\L, Total Biliribilum is 0.5 mg/DL.

Direct Bilirubin - 0.1mg/dL, Total Protien - 7.0 g/dL, Albumin - 4.4 g/dL, Globulin, Serun - 2.6 g/dL, A/G Ratio - 1.7

C. Lipid Profile; a. Cholestral - 162.8 mg.dL, Triglycerides - 195.9, HDL Cholestral is 34.4 mg/dl, LDL Cholestral - 103.9 mg/dl, VLDL Cholestral - 39.18, total Ch / HDL Chol ratio is 4.7.

D. Clinical Phathology is - Normal and Negative for all.

E. Hemathalogy - is normal for all except for PCT which is 0.19%.

F. Immunoassay - 2.805 microiU/mL.

G. Serology: MEIA - Negative (0.79S/CO)

H. HIV 1 & 2 - MEIA - Negative 0.33S/Co)

I. Echocardiogram Report - Everything Normal EXPECT Mitral - Mild MR

J. Chest PA View - Normal Chest Radiology.

K. TMT - Goof effort tolerance, Normal HR and BP response, No Angina or Arrhythmias, No sinigficant HT changes, Stress Test Nagative for Provocable ISCHEMIA,

L. Abdominal Ultrasound for Liver, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, Spleen, Kidneys, Pelvic Organs were all normal.

m. PMT was normal

please suggest next steps.

Hi,
Your most of the test reports are normal. Your cholesterol level is slightly altered. Your HDL is low and your triglyceride and LDL is slightly high. You should take low fat diet with high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Go for regular exercise. Rest all the reports are normal. No ant treatment is required.
